> Second, explaining the name: first, the naming of the assembly also has three meanings, identical to the previous two assemblies. Second, explaining the chapter name: Tuṣita is the place; the Buddha, with the body of the dharmadhātu, responds without arising, hence it is called "ascending." Expounding while dwelling here expresses that the station is supreme and transcendent, which is the proper sequence. Furthermore, above and below are heedless, whereas this heaven knows contentment; expressing that worldly practice is fulfilled, he resides in the heaven of joyful contentment. Furthermore, because there is one in the position of being separated from Buddhahood by only one rebirth, it expresses that the merit and practice of the bodhicitta are fulfilled. Furthermore, one accumulates merits and gathers achievements, yet knows the steps are not yet sufficient; dedicating achievements to confer upon one's children, one then knows there is surplus. The bodhisattva is also like this: laboriously accumulating practices, one does not see surplus; dedicating toward sentient beings, one then knows one's own self-sufficiency. Furthermore, among the six heavens of the desire realm, this one resides in the center, expressing that compassion and wisdom are balanced and equal, residing in the middle. Furthermore, being born in this heaven, one cultivates the three merits, namely giving, morality, and meditation, while the others are not complete, being one-sided and unbalanced; hence he expounds while dwelling here.
