> Major Section Two: in distinguishing the fruits of the station from the benefits, accomplishing the benefits concerns obtaining the fruits within the station. Regarding the fulfilment of its station, there are twenty-one phrases: the first restates what precedes, and the last is the general conclusion; the middle nineteen are subsumed into nine fruits: 1. the fruit of severing defilement, subduing the enmity of Māra, meaning stopping evil conditions and uprooting the thorns of desire, which severs evil causes; 2. the fruit of entering realization, obtaining the joy of transcendence, directly realising and abiding in the non-dual nature, the cause of realisation; 3. the fruit of benefiting sentient beings, possessing great majestic power, which is the cause of protecting beings; 4. the fruit of internal and external transcendence, meaning internal virtue and external function; 5. from "going to all" onward, the fruit of the non-obstruction of quiescence and function; 6. from "possessing all" onward, the fruit of the vastness of practice and vows; 7. from "distinguishing" onward, the fruit of the excellence of wisdom and supernormal faculties; 8. from "obtaining unhindered" onward, the fruit of sovereignty in seeing and hearing; 9. from "in all realms" onward, the fruit of complete cultivation, first accomplishment, then non-attainment.
