The former is great wisdom benefiting oneself, differing from ordinary beings; the latter is great compassion benefiting others, differing from the Hīnayāna. These two guide each other to accomplish the path of non-abiding, which reaches everywhere; hence it subsumes the dedication that reaches all places. Now, the first is the cultivation of the factors of bodhi (bodhipakṣa-dharmas). The treatise master has a separate Treatise on the Factors of the Path; therefore it is not explained here.
