> Fourth, the fruit of the indestructible mind. The two sections below also subsume the dedication that accords with and solidifies all roots of goodness (kuśala-mūla). This serves to advance in good, after which great practice arises. Now, the first: 'indestructible mind' means that because obscurations are eliminated and practice is accomplished, both wisdom and compassion do not regress or deteriorate. The text has ten clauses: the first is general, the rest are specific. Specifically there are nine kinds of indestructibility: 1. being decisive in faith in the noumenon; 2. practice capable of being pliant; 3. not fearing the profound; 4. not regressing from one's own vehicle; 5. superior progress without cessation; 6. obliterating self and other; 7. benefiting sentient beings boundlessly; 8. seeking the wisdom of the stage above; 9. skillfully transforming sentient beings. One may also explain indestructibility by matching them against the preceding ten samādhi minds, but I fear excessive detail. All nine are solid, so all are called 'indestructible'. When all ten are complete, they are called 'all completely fulfilled'.
