### [49.48](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1735.49.48)

> Part three of the major text is the general conclusion. Among the preceding ten metaphors: the first generally clarifies taking the ungrounded as ground; the second, capable of giving birth; the third, capable of latently pervading; the fourth, horizontally possessing the four wisdoms; the fifth, vertically possessing the four capabilities; the sixth, its essence being vast and all-inclusive; the seventh, its function having no end; the eighth, knowing without failing to exhaust; the ninth, skillfully able to sustain; the tenth, being complete in every place. The first nine speak directly of Buddha-wisdom, while the last one fuses self and other. These ten perfectly interpenetrate, briefly demonstrating the marks of Buddha-wisdom and conveying the mind of the Tathāgata; yet they have not exhausted even a single hair of the Buddha's mind, so it must be understood further through immeasurability, unobstructedness, and so forth.
