- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [55.27](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1735.55.27)

> Sixth, regarding praising and not praising: in the initial Mañjuśrī, before \[Sudhana\] generated the aspiration, he was not praised, and only after being encouraged to generate the aspiration was he praised. The latter two do not praise, representing the completion of the stations and freedom from mental characteristics. The spiritual friends in between should all have praises. Those who do not praise briefly have two conditions: first, being directly in samādhi, such as Sāgaradhvaja and others; second, practicing what is not the path, such as Jayoṣmīkṣa, Anivacana, Vasumitrā, etc., where praising would go against conversion through non-compliance. Without these two conditions, the lack of praise is an abbreviation.
