The greatest among enemies does not exceed arrogance: if one possesses it, one is base and ugly; if one eliminates it, one is dignified and majestic. > The next four verses are self-evident. > In the sixth, the first line is the ocean of desires. Desire is the root of suffering, hence it says 'possessing all sufferings'. The next two lines are the exhaustion \[of desires\]. Since desire and evil have ceased, wholesome practices should be spoken. > In the seventh, the first line is universally manifesting body-clouds. The next line explains the lightning flashes of equality, hence it says 'various'. The next line also explains thunder and rain. Thunder has two meanings: first, shaking from afar; second, generating, meaning dormant insects stir and grass and trees sprout.
