Mutual subsumption: each one of these ten subsumes all pāramitās, because they mutually accord with one another. The Prajñā-śāstra states: 'The meaning of dāna subsumes the six: material goods, fearlessness, Dharma,' and so on. The Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa states: 'There are unadorned pāramitās that do not subsume \[the others\], and there are already adorned pāramitās that mutually subsume \[the others\].'
