- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [10.29](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1736.10.29)

> Regarding the Commentary's 'This also serves as an analogy for the tathāgatagarbha and the ālayavijñāna being mutually undifferentiated': second, it reintegrates the meaning of penetrating the true mind within the previous distinction between true and false in mind-only. That is, gold is an analogy for the tathāgatagarbha, and colour is an analogy for saṃsāra and so on. Therefore the Ghanavyūha-sūtra says: 'The pure tathāgatagarbha / and the worldly ālayavijñāna / are like gold and a finger-ring, / mutually without distinction.' Because it was already integrated in the third gate earlier, the word 'also' is used.
