- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [16.27](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1736.16.27)

> Regarding the Commentary's 'supernormal powers, major marks, and so forth': the 'Pure Practice' Chapter states, 'When seeing a flower bloom, one should wish that sentient beings unfold qualities such as supernormal powers, like a flower in full bloom. When seeing flowers on a tree, one should wish that sentient beings possess marks like flowers, complete with the thirty-two.' Since supernormal powers, marks, and so forth are functions on the fruition level, they are said to 'occur simultaneously with the fruit.' However, although supernormal powers also extend to the cause, here they are spoken of merely in terms of flowers of gold and jade occurring together with the body.
