疏「依今梵本」下，第二章，今目也。於中三：初正釋今名、二揀前說、三結成今義。疏中一時併舉梵言、一時譯就此語，若別對者，摩訶言大。毘佛略云方廣。勃陀云覺者，即是佛字，佛字略存梵音故。健拏云雜華。驃訶云嚴飾。修多羅云經。

> Regarding the Commentary's passage from "Relying on the current Sanskrit text" onwards: this is the second section, \[explaining\] the present title. Within this, there are three parts: first, directly explaining the present title; second, setting aside previous explanations; third, concluding and establishing the present meaning. In the commentary, the Sanskrit terms are cited all together, and simultaneously translated into these \[Chinese\] words. If matched individually: mahā means "great" (da); vaipulya means "broad and vast" (fangguang); buddha means "awakened one" (juezhe), which is the word fo (Buddha), for the word fo simply abbreviates the Sanskrit sound; gaṇḍa means "miscellaneous flowers" (zahua); vyūha means "sublime adornment" (yanshi); sūtra means "scripture" (jing).
