> Regarding the Commentary's statement, 'Second, after the forty-eighth there is no verification' and so forth: If from 'Inconceivable' to 'Minor Characteristics' it belonged solely to the differentiated fruition, then since cause and effect had ended, there ought to be an appearance of auspicious signs as verification; yet now there is no verification. Since the 'Chapter on Samantabhadra's Practice' belongs solely to the cause of the manifestation \[of the Tathāgata\], and the fruition has not yet been expounded, how could there be verification? One clearly knows that the conclusion of verification at the end of 'Samantabhadra's Practice' belongs to the preceding 'Inconceivable' and others.
