> On the Commentary's "The second on bodily karma in 'Manifestation'..." and so forth: this cites this single simile to corroborate the preceding containment together with non-discrimination, but the application to the text is not complete. Fully stated, it says: "The body of the Tathāgata is also just like this: because the light of wisdom shines everywhere, it causes all sentient beings' mundane and supramundane wholesome roots and karmas to all be accomplished, yet the Tathāgata's body has no discrimination and also no prapañca. Why is this? Because from the beginning onward, all grasping and all prapañca have been permanently severed." Comparing it with the text, it can be understood.
