- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [21.9](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1736.21.9)

> Regarding the commentary’s statement, "The thunder of the perfect voice can be analogized": this means thunder shakes for a hundred li, while this now pervades the dharmadhātu. "Second, generating and giving birth to": what is generating? Giving up indulgence in the flavor of meditation and giving rise to great active function is "the stirring of dormant insects." What is giving birth to? Causing the roots of goodness of all sentient beings to sprout, causing what has not yet arisen to arise.
