- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [27.25](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1736.27.25)

疏「智即是體」者，智體如日，用如日光。日體雖一，能放千光；智體不殊，能照萬境。又日光無二，所照物殊；智光無差，隨境分照。

> Regarding the Commentary's “Wisdom is the essence”: the essence of wisdom is like the sun, and its function is like the sunlight. Although the sun's body is one, it can emit a thousand rays; though the essence of wisdom is not different, it can illuminate myriad objects. Furthermore, the sunlight is non-dual, but the objects illuminated are different; the light of wisdom is without distinction, yet it illuminates according to the various objects.
