- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [33.15](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1736.33.15)

> Regarding the commentary's "this contemplation is also quiescent, hence no mind is raised": this explains not raising the mind to discriminate. However, this line has two meanings: 1. Since both objects and the self are empty, one does not discriminate the difference between objects and the self. This meaning is shallow, so it is not set forth in detail. Now it clarifies that the mind knowing emptiness is itself this contemplation; once both kinds of self are quiescent, from what could contemplation arise? If contemplation is not forgotten, it is not seeing emptiness. Then the sickness of emptiness is also empty, and subject and object are both quiescent.
