大方廣佛華嚴經隨疏演義鈔 38.31

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [38.31](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1736.38.31)

疏「頓現身器故」者，前約廣釋，直語色類之多，故云非一。今約深釋，藏識頓變根身器世間，故為甚深。言「出二量故」者，現量比量不能量故。又過量，無量故。

> Regarding the Commentary's statement "Because of suddenly manifesting body and vessel \[worlds\]": The preceding was an extensive explanation, speaking directly of the multitude of categories of forms, hence saying "manifold." Now it is an explanation in terms of depth: the storehouse consciousness suddenly transforms into the physical faculties, bodies, and vessel worlds, and therefore it is extremely profound. As for the statement "Because it exceeds the two pramāṇas": Direct perception and inference cannot measure it. Furthermore, it goes beyond measure, being immeasurable.
