- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [65.13](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1736.65.13)

> Regarding the Commentary's stating, "The treatise says: because name-and-form and consciousness are co-nascent..." onward: third, adducing the treatise to explain "together," though it does not show the characteristics of name-and-form, it directly speaks of the meaning of co-nascence. However, the treatise connects two clauses, saying: "Because name-and-form and consciousness are co-nascent, and because consciousness and name-and-form mutually rely on each other." Here the Commentary separates and explains them: the preceding clause directly explains the meaning of "together." The Daśabhūmika-sūtra says: "Because name-and-form arises together with the ālayavijñāna."
