- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [65.29](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1736.65.29)

疏「十二老死」支，疏文有三：初正釋文、第二示體、第三解妨。今初，「即諸衰變位」者，亦《唯識》文。四十已後容顏漸衰，即屬於老。若《俱舍》云「至當受老死」，義如生支中說。

> In the commentary, "Twelfth, the link of aging-and-death": the commentary text has three parts: first, directly explaining the text; second, demonstrating its essence; third, resolving an objection. Here, in the first part, "this refers to the various stages of decay and transformation" is also a passage from the Vijñaptimātratāsiddhi. After forty, one's appearance gradually declines, which belongs to aging. In the Kośa, it says: "Extending up to the experience of aging-and-death," the meaning of which is as explained under the link of birth.
