> Second, the gate of subsumption under the one mind. Regarding the Commentary's "Now, first, relying on the treatise's three contemplations" down: the text of the Commentary has two \[parts\]: first, a brief explanation of the sūtra; second, a broad opening of the meaning. Now for the first, it first cites the treatise; then, from "This clarifies the reason for cultivating contemplation" down, the Commentary explains the text of the treatise. From "And although the text of the treatise says…" down, it then explains the reason for establishing the contemplation. For if one takes the threefold realm as false, that is what is produced, and then belongs to conventional truth; now it takes what produces \[them\] as the ultimate truth.
