- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [75.44](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1736.75.44)

> Regarding the commentary's "The sūtra says: The world is always like a dream..." and so on, this is the third \[part\], citing scriptural proof. That is the first chapter of the Laṅkāvatāra, these being the middle two lines. In full, it reads: "Far removed from annihilation and permanence, / The world is always like a dream. / Cognition perceives neither existence nor non-existence, / Yet gives rise to great compassion." Previously, under the illusion-like forbearance, the subcommentary already cited it in full.
