> Tenth: the forbearance of \[phenomena being\] like space (ākāśopama-kṣānti). Regarding the commentary's "Indicating it as 'like space', what is analogized by space pervades all dharmas": from here downward, the text of the commentary has four parts: first, showing the general and particular scope of what is analogized; second, explaining the differences in the characteristics of the similes; third, citing treatises to harmonize and explain them; fourth, concluding the main intention. In the first part, the above is the intention of this sūtra, generally serving as an analogy for everything; second, from "The Buddhabhūmi-vyākhyāna analogizes purity" downward, it cites the treatise to clarify the general and particular.
