> Regarding the commentary's "Hīnayāna's sixty reaches 'innumerable' (wushu)": that is, the Abhidharmakośa-śāstra speaks of sixty, beyond which there are no more numbers. That is, the twelfth fascicle of the treatise cites the Vimukti-sūtra explaining sixty numbers, in which asaṃkhyeya is the fifty-second number. That text enumerates them in full: from one to ten is ten, and so on up to balakṣa being one asaṃkhyeya. In this count, the remaining eight are omitted, being only fifty-two. Now, when it is said that Hīnayāna's sixty reaches "innumerable," this "innumerable" means that beyond this there are no more; it is not the term asaṃkhyeya.
