> Regarding the Commentary's "Next, directly explaining the text": the rubric divides the two assemblies, which altogether have four meanings. From "The perfect interpenetration of general and specific" onward, it harmonizes the above four meanings: first, the perfect interpenetration of general and specific harmonizes the fourth, the unobstructed harmony of general and specific, root and branch; first, the root and branch assemblies briefly omit the second, the mutual identity of cause and result, which is the third; "encompassing both gradual and sudden" will be harmonized and explained again below at the beginning of the branch assembly. From "Furthermore, the former extinguishes cultivation..." onward, it comprehensively aligns with perfect interpenetration, combining the previous five pairs. The former four are contrasted solely with the root assembly, and therefore are cited all at once; the latter one is comprehensively contrasted with the central doctrines of all assemblies, and therefore is explained separately.
