> Regarding the Commentary's statement, "The general phrase refers to the conclusion of the preceding samādhi," previously, the explanation of that which is entered had eleven phrases in total, the first of which was the general one, which is not extensively detailed separately here. That which is in the conclusion of the preceding samādhi is the extensive expansion of the preceding general phrase. The preceding general phrase stated: "Therefore, they all attain entry into the Tathāgata's inconceivable, profound samādhi, and the great supernatural powers that exhaust the dharmadhātu and the realm of space." Now, in the extensive expansion, the conclusion of the samādhi states: "With such samādhis numbering as many as the dust motes of ineffable buddha-lands, the bodhisattvas enter into the sea of samādhi-transformations of the Tathāgata Vairocana that fills all dharmadhātus thought-moment by thought-moment." Therefore, the conclusion of the samādhi is precisely the preceding general phrase. From here on, it merely expands upon the preceding ten specific phrases. As for the statement that they are "not in sequence," this first one corresponds to the preceding sixth, the second to the preceding fifth, the third to the preceding fourth, the fourth to the preceding ninth, the fifth to the preceding third, the sixth to the preceding first, the seventh to the preceding second, the eighth to the preceding tenth, the ninth to the preceding eighth, and the tenth to the preceding seventh; the text is readily understood.
