> The second major section is "Integrating Conditions into the True Characteristic". In the commentary there are five parts: 1. general section-analysis and explanation; 2. from "However, although people..." downward, discriminating analysis; 3. from "Since Māyā has integrated..." downward, resolving difficulties—first asking, then from "Is it not..." downward, explaining; 4. from "Moreover, this one..." downward, separately indicating doctrinal perspectives; 5. from "First, Heavenly Ruler..." downward, generally explaining the various encounters. And there are two meanings: first, the meaning of equal enlightenment entering the conventional; second, precisely the earlier separate explanation of integrating conditions, which afterwards returns to these two. Downward from "Now the first", the text is explained. In the preceding five, each restates what was attained by them. "First, Heavenly Ruler Radiance must for the time being maintain right mindfulness without loss": because he attained the bodhisattva liberation named Unhindered Mindfulness Purely Adorned. Second, "may act as a worldly teacher": this refers to the Dharma door attained by Sarvamitra. Third, downward from "exhaustively penetrating": this refers to the youth Śilpābhijña, who attained the liberation named Skill in All Arts, and extensively expounded the syllabary. Fourth, "unsupported and inexhaustible": this refers to the upāsikā Bhadrottamā, who attained the bodhimaṇḍa of the unsupported place and also attained the samādhi named Inexhaustible. Fifth, "unattached and pure": this refers to the householder Dṛḍhabhakti, who attained the liberation named Unattached Mindfulness Purely Adorned. Sixth, "purity means pure wisdom emitting radiance": this refers to the householder Jayottama, who attained the liberation named Pure Wisdom Radiance. Seventh, "emitting radiance means the marks of wisdom are inexhaustible": this refers to the householder Vijitāvī, who attained the Inexhaustible Marks liberation. Eighth, "being inexhaustible, sincere vows are not violated": this refers to the brāhmaṇa Śivoṣṇīṣa, who attained the liberation named Words of Sincere Vows. Ninth, "only then can one return to the abode of illusion": this refers to Devaśreṣṭhin and Sudatta, who attained the Dharma door of the Abode of Illusion. Downward from "Therefore, although...", it concludes generally.
