大方廣佛華嚴經隨疏演義鈔 89.23

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [89.23](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1736.89.23)

疏二十一「鎖字」，別譯是「娑嚩」字。若會經者，念佛莊嚴，最安隱故。《智論》云「若聞濕波字，即知一切法不可得，如濕波字不可得。」論云濕波字無別義，而《光讚》中云「無所起」，無所起即安隱義。

> Regarding the commentary's "Twenty-one: the syllable sva": the alternate translation renders it sva. If one reconciles it with the sūtra: mindfulness of the Buddha's adornments is the most tranquil and secure. The Dazhidulun says: "Hearing the syllable śva, one immediately knows that all phenomena cannot be apprehended, just as the syllable śva cannot be apprehended." The treatise states that the syllable śva has no distinct meaning, whereas in the Pañcaviṃśatisāhasrikā-āloka it says "unoriginated"; "unoriginated" is precisely the meaning of tranquil and secure.
