大方廣佛華嚴經隨疏演義鈔 89.27

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [89.27](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1736.89.27)

疏二十五「叉（楚我切）字」，別譯為「漩澓」字。若會經者，業海深廣無不包含，非是無為終竟須盡。《智論》云「若聞叉字，則知一切法盡不可得，以叉耶此言盡故。」

> In the commentary on the twenty-fifth \[syllable\], 'kṣa' (叉, pronounced chǔ-wǒ), another translation has the syllable 'whirlpool' (xuanfu). If correlated with the sūtra, the deep and vast ocean of karma contains everything; it is not unconditioned and ultimately must be exhausted. The Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa states: 'If one hears the syllable kṣa, one then knows that the exhaustion of all phenomena is ungraspable, because kṣaya (叉耶) here means exhaustion.'
