- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [89.35](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1736.89.35)

疏三十三「縒字」，別譯為「哆婆」字。若會經者，勇健方能修入功德。《智論》云「若聞縒字，即知一切法無慳無施，以末縒羅此言慳故。」釋曰：無慳最勇健，施為行首，勇而能行故偏說耳。

> In the commentary on the thirty-third \[syllable\], 'tsa' (縒), another translation has the syllable 'tsva' (哆婆). If correlated with the sūtra, only the courageous can cultivate and enter into merit. The Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa states: 'If one hears the syllable tsa, one immediately knows that all phenomena are without stinginess and without giving, because matsara (末縒羅) here means stinginess.' The explanation says: Freedom from stinginess is the most courageous; giving is the head of practices, and because one acts with courage, it is singled out for discussion.
