大方廣佛華嚴經隨疏演義鈔 89.9

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [89.9](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1736.89.9)

疏「七拕字」，別譯為「娜」字，《大品》為「陀」字，《放光》為「拕」，義皆同也。文中，先釋義；後「方為不退轉」下，會經也。《智論》云「若聞拕字，知一切法善相，以陀摩此言善故。」釋曰：調伏寂靜，真如平等，善之極也。

> Regarding the commentary's "Seven: the syllable da": the alternate translation has the syllable da (na), the Pañcaviṃśatisāhasrikā has the syllable dha, and the Pañcaviṃśatisāhasrikā-āloka has da; their meanings are all identical. In the text, it first explains the meaning; afterwards, from "only then is it non-retrogression" down, it reconciles it with the sūtra. The Dazhidulun says: "Hearing the syllable da, one knows the marks of wholesome phenomena, because here dhamma means wholesome." Explanation: Subdued and tranquil, tathatā is equal; this is the culmination of the wholesome.
