> Regarding the Commentary's statement, 'The adornment storehouse has two meanings': the former meaning concerns principle interfusing with phenomena, which is already the non-obstruction of phenomenon and phenomenon; the latter further clarifies the mutual interfusion of mind and objects. The passage from 'Therefore, this gate' onward continues the former primary gate to explain the retinue.
> Regarding the Commentary's statement, 'If it definitely had a place from which it came beforehand' onward: the above explained in terms of direct progression; below this, it is explained in reverse, reconciling the gate of prior existence and prior non-existence into the middle way. From 'Since it is separated from' onward, it concludes the explanation of the sūtra text.
