How does one cultivate within the Buddha’s teaching so that vows and practices are fulfilled, sentient beings are liberated, and the lineage of the Three Jewels is continued?” Dharmamati said: “One who asks thus is equal to the Tathāgata. Relying on the Buddha’s power, I shall explain a fraction for you. When a bodhisattva generates the aspiration, they should abandon ten kinds of heedlessness and obtain ten kinds of purity; further, cultivate ten dharmas to make all buddhas rejoice; and further, cultivate ten dharmas to enter the stages swiftly. Having become complete in such great merits, one gradually enters the Buddha stage. In a single thought-moment, this bodhisattva universally and completely knows all dharmas, except for the Tathāgata.
