勝鬘寶窟 2.46

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.46](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1744.2.46)

第三明因緣門者，繫業分段，用罪、福、不動業為因，四取為緣；不繫分段，用微業為因，慈悲願等緣。自報變易，用無漏業為因，無明為緣；為物變易，悲願為因，眾生根欲為緣。

> The third is the gate of clarifying causes and conditions: Fragmentary \[birth-and-death\] bound by karma takes unwholesome, meritorious, and immovable karma as its causes, and the four graspings as its conditions. Fragmentary \[birth-and-death\] not bound \[by karma\] takes subtle karma as its cause, and conditions such as compassionate vows. Transformation of one's own retribution takes uncontaminated karma as its cause and ignorance as its condition; transformation for the sake of beings takes compassionate vows as its cause and the faculties and desires of sentient beings as its conditions.
