無量壽經連義述文贊 2.236

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.236](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1748.2.236)

> Regarding the sūtra saying from “furthermore, the lotus flowers of myriad jewels” down to “hundreds of thousands of kotis of rays of light,” the commentary states: This sixth is the jewel flowers filling \[the land\]. There are two parts: this first is the flowers adorning the world. \*Wei\* (暐, pronounced \*yu-gui\*): the \*Shuowen\* says, “flourishing brightness and vastness.” \*Ye\* (曄, pronounced \*wei-shao\*), the flourishing of floral radiance. Also \*ye\* (曄, pronounced \*wang-zhe\*), the appearance of blooming flora. \*Huan\* (煥) means bright; \*lan\* (爛) means clear and vivid patterns.
