> Fourth is the contemplation of the trees. The text has three \[parts\]: first, concluding what precedes and introducing what follows; next, from "contemplating the jeweled trees" onwards, directly explaining contemplative practice; from "This is..." onwards, concluding. Within the direct contemplation there are five: first, explaining the substance of the trees; second, explaining the adorned characteristics; third, explaining the manner of their arising; fourth, from "There is great radiance" onwards, manifesting the Buddha-lands; fifth, from "seeing the trunks and leaves of the trees" onwards, concluding the contemplation.
