> Fourth, the virtue of the foremost leaders: because among them there are many who are bound to one more birth, up to being spoken of as asaṃkhyeya. It is asked: What is the fulfillment of the virtue of adorning the foremost leaders? The verse states: / 'Like Mount Sumeru, king \[of mountains\], / Supremely wondrous, none surpasses them.' / The commentary states: Bodhisattvas of one remaining birth are supreme among the ten stages, just like the wondrous king of mountains. While the treatise fully reveals eight kinds of adornments, this sūtra briefly indicates four kinds of virtues. The two passages above combine to form the first \[major part\], completing the revelation of the two kinds of pure results.
