> Sengliang states: Śākyamuni is the seventh Buddha. It means that your future dharmakāya will share the same name as me, only with a difference in time, bearing such a name. Sengzong states: He is the seventh Buddha in the Bhadrakalpa. Not only is the name the same, but the ten epithets are also identical. If so, then the future fruit is clear and distinct, and doubts are severed. Huilang states: The commentary on the Benqi jing says, 'Śākya means capable; muni means scholar.' Meaning 'capable scholar', this praises Kāśyapa for his merit in propagating the Dharma.
