> Sengliang states: To call it nirvāṇa refers to its textual expressions. That which the noble ones tread is called the path. That which is permanently never lost is called the ultimate. Being free from the eight sufferings is called fearlessness. Curing the illness of saṃsāra is called the Great Master. The fruit of knowledge, forbearance, and unobstructed samādhi are all names according to different meanings. Having the same characteristics as phenomena, it is called the Great Dharmadhātu.
