> From here below is the second part, analyzing the deviant to return to the correct. This answers the completion of the correct and wholesome above, expounding the four inversions with the desire to make sentient beings abandon the deviant and return to the correct; hence it is discussed. In the text: first the analysis, and afterwards Kāśyapa's comprehension. In the analysis: first, the statement 'what are called the four inversions' generally designates them. In reality there are eight inversions; why are four spoken of? Because there are four pairs. Below, it analyzes them extensively: first, it clarifies the two inversions of suffering and bliss, clarifying first the inversion of bliss, next the inversion of suffering, and afterwards concluding them together. Here, the inversion of bliss differs slightly from other places: other places simply speak of the suffering of birth and death, taking it as bliss, which is called the inversion of bliss; here, it expounds that being deluded about the Buddha's true bliss and falsely taking it as suffering is called great sinful suffering, and taking this sinful suffering to be the cause of bliss in the hope of attaining bliss is called generating the inversion of bliss in the midst of suffering.
