> In the third part, 'I also abide' explains his own practice, saying 'also' as he is identical to the Buddha. From 'that which was spoken' onward, he explains expounding it to others. Therein, first saying 'that which was spoken of as the bodhisattva's pure place of practice' repeats the Buddha's preceding words; 'is precisely the preaching of the Mahāparinirvāṇa Sūtra' points out its characteristic. From 'I now also' onward, he explains his own transmission and preaching. Because he expounds the Mahāparinirvāṇa Sūtra for others, he says, 'I now widely proclaim the secret treasury for sentient beings.' He preaches the sūtra just as the Buddha does, and therefore says 'also.'
