大般涅槃經義記 5.153

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [5.153](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1764.5.153)

第二文殊執即徵別，「若二相即便無二諦」。下佛答之，「有善方便隨生說二」總明有二。「若隨言」下別顯二相，先舉二數，次列二名，二諦之義如章廣辯。

> In the second, Mañjuśrī grasps identity and questions distinction: 'If the two are mutually identical, then there are no two truths.' Below, the Buddha answers it: 'Having excellent expedient means, in accordance with beings I speak of two,' which generally clarifies that there are two. 'If according to words...' below distinctly displays the marks of the two: first, he adduces the number two; next, he lists the two names. The meaning of the two truths is as extensively discussed in the \[thematic\] chapter.
