- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [1.24](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1767.1.24)

> 'At one time': 'One' as a numerical direction is merely a worldly meaning; emptiness as 'one' is the meaning of the two vehicles; true and conventional coalescing into 'one' is the bodhisattva's meaning. One is all, all is one, neither one nor all, yet one and yet all—the latter 'one' is the correct intention of the present sūtra. 'The Buddha at one time' has three bodies and four meanings. The latter meaning applies to the present \[sūtra\], as can be known by conforming to the above.
