> From “Good son, how is it named noble practice?” downward, this is the third part, jointly explaining the name of noble practice. The text is threefold: (1) marking, (2) explaining, (3) concluding. Within the explanation there are three parts: (1) adducing both biased and perfect persons to make the joint explanation still more apparent; (2) separately adducing the two dharmas of concentration and wisdom to complete the precepts; (3) generally adducing the seven jewels of wealth and the seven factors of awakening to explain the noble person. The noble person practices the noble Dharma, and the noble Dharma completes the noble person; therefore, it is named noble practice. If their realized paths are identical, one should take the person of the first ground endowed with precepts, concentration, and wisdom, and the seven jewels of wealth and seven factors of awakening, to explain the name of noble practice. The third part, the conclusion, is as in the text.
