大般涅槃經疏 18.25

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [18.25](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1767.18.25)

「世尊無上佛法」下，第三歎興衰，又四問答：一釋尊佛法、二迦葉佛法、三一切佛法、四重結釋迦佛法。初問答，問如文，答中二：先明修五行則興、多犯戒則滅。

> From "World-Honoured One, the supreme Buddha-Dharma" onwards is the third part, praising flourishing and decline, which further has four questions and answers: first, Śākyamuni's Buddha-Dharma; second, Kāśyapa Buddha's Buddha-Dharma; third, the Buddha-Dharma of all buddhas; fourth, reiterating the conclusion on Śākyamuni's Buddha-Dharma. As for the first question and answer, the question is as in the text, and within the answer there are two: first, it explains that cultivating the five practices brings flourishing, while widespread transgression of the precepts brings extinction.
