- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [31.9](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1767.31.9)

> From "If it is further said..." onward is the fourth, refuting \[the view that\] space resides in three places, which comprises three theories. This also has two parts: first, citing it; second, refuting their theories. The first says: Space resides back in the place of space, and there is no space within existence. The second says: Space resides in the place of existence, and there is no space in the place of non-existence. The third says: It resides in the place of existence and non-existence, just as when a moist and rotting thing is about to rot, before it rots, it is called having space. The refutation of these attachments is as in the text.
