> The Eulogy says: Fifth, the form of the relics. Śarīra means grain husk. Dhātu means body. The Buddha's body, in size, was compared to the measure of a grain of husk; hence it is named after it. Śākyamuni Tathāgata divided his relics into fragments, symbolizing the division of his body into the ten directions to guide and benefit everywhere. Maitreya's relics remain as a whole body for the time being, because in Tuṣita he conducts the transformation of a single buddha. 'Unmoving and unshaken' symbolizes that the Buddha's dharmakāya is fundamentally without the activities of arising and ceasing.
