注維摩詰經 10.138

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [10.138](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1775.10.138)

肇曰：滅盡義一，既曰畢竟滅而曰無盡者何耶？夫滅生於不滅，畢竟常滅則無不滅，無不滅則滅無所滅，滅無所滅即是無盡義也。

> \[Seng\]zhao says: Extinction and exhaustion have the same meaning. Having already spoken of 'fundamentally and entirely extinguished', why then speak of 'no exhaustion'? Extinction arises from non-extinction; when it is fundamentally and always extinguished, there is nothing that is not extinguished; when there is nothing that is not extinguished, then extinction has nothing to extinguish; extinction having nothing to extinguish is precisely the meaning of inexhaustibility.
