- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [10.34](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1775.10.34)

> \[Seng\]zhao says: Tall trees must arise from deep soil, and fine jade must be produced from the crags of Jing; thus an immeasurable fruit must arise from an immeasurable cause. The bodhi of all buddhas is born from practicing this sūtra. The path of bodhi takes marklessness as its mark, and the mark of marklessness cannot be measured; when merit is generated from this, how could that merit be measured? \[Dao\]sheng says: Taking marklessness as the merit of receiving and upholding it, the merit is inexhaustible.
