- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.115](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1775.2.115)

什曰：欲明履道之身未免斯患，況於無德而可保也。肇曰：同我者易信、異我者難順，故因其身疾，廣明有身之患。

> \[Kumāra\]jīva says: He wished to make clear that even a body that walks the Way is not exempt from this affliction, how much less could those without virtue rely on theirs! \[Seng\]zhao says: Those who resemble oneself are easy to convince, while those who differ are hard to guide; therefore, taking the occasion of his bodily illness, he broadly explained the perils of possessing a body.
