- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.162](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.1775.2.162)

> \[Kumāra\]jīva says: Although a srotāpanna has seen the four truths, they are still confused by pure form; therefore, following the four inconstancies, he next speaks of impurity. Furthermore, above he spoke of impermanence, suffering, and non-self; here he speaks of the gateway of impurity. To shatter the four inverted views, he speaks of four kinds of contemplative practice. Having practiced these contemplations, one is subsequently able to be unattached to the body; being unattached to the body, one is subsequently able to train in the dharmakāya. Therefore he first speaks of the dharmas of revulsion and later speaks of the dharmakāya.
